Quick Trip to Colorado
Quick trip to Colorado - every time I visit, I always remember how much I enjoy it and discovering new spots.
Arriving late in evening, checked into our AirBnB and walked past Union Station to grab a martini and snacks at Urban Farmer around the corner.
Next morning, enjoyed brunch at Onefold with a Vietnamese iced coffee, chorizo breakfast tacos and Tender Belly bacon fried rice. Headed to Meow Wolf - Convergence Station for an awesome immersive art experience (see separate post for more details and pics!) Wandered around Dairy Block microdistrict of shops, restaurants and art. Sipped on a bourbon at Seven Grand and then grabbed a deli sandwich and bolognese pasta to split at the Denver Milk Market food hall (16 different culinary concepts all in one spot). Last but not least as the snow started to fall and temps dropped, made our way to Red Rocks Ampitheater for the Zach Bryan show which is always an amazing place to see a concert (add to your list for sure!) Morgantown, WV native Charles Wesley Godwin was going to be an opener but due to weather, the venue cancelled opening acts - at least he got to sing Country Roads for the sold-out crowd! Check him out if you haven’t already…fantastic storyteller and musical talent.
