Quinlan Country Roads Trip

Without realizing it at the time, the initial ideas for Curated Wonder started back in 2020 when my family’s trip to London & Paris was canceled due to COVID and we decided to pivot to a road trip around our Wild and Wonderful state of West Virginia. I am not from WV nor did I go to school here but when I started diving in to research and build our trip, I couldn’t believe how much there is to do and I never knew it! A couple of places were still closed or I didn’t want to over-do it with activities on our route to allow for random stops when we wanted. All in all, we did a 909 mile loop from Morgantown over 12 days / 11 nights and covered 17 counties and 24 towns! I made a card for each day for the kids to open to learn where we were going next and any interesting facts & tidbits plus a journal and WV coloring pages, road trip games etc. Everyone had a favorite stop and lots of silly stories to remember along the way.
